Swedish meatballs
Ingredients
- 225 g duck sausages garlic and chives
- 350 g lean ground beef
- ½ cup plain bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3 tasses de bouillon de bœuf ou poulet
- 1 tasse de crème 35 % à cuisson
- 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- Freshly ground salt and pepper
How to proceed:
- Retirer la membrane des saucisses et déposer la chair dans un grand bol.
- Add ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg and mix well.
- Shape into pellets about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Brown the meatballs for 10 minutes, stirring regularly. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, place the remaining butter and flour. Cook for 1 minute while stirring.
- Stir in broth, cream and Dijon mustard.
- Add the meatballs and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
